Support PADA today

Financial support from Canada for our work in South Sudan goes through our partner, Hanti Sidra One Global Familya registered Canadian charitable organization based in Sidney BC.  A donation of even $20--about the cost of a large pizza--is not insignificant.  It will pay for 100 grams of vegetable seeds used by women in our livelihood project.  The women stretch it a lot further.  They save at least 10% of the seeds from harvested plants to be used in next year's crop, so it can keep feeding their children indefinitely.

There is no maximum on donations.  Some of our supporters have been extremely generous.  For example, one couple gave more than $220,000 spread over a period of 13 years.  That covered much of the cost of building three village schools.  We have also received substantial support from charitable bequests and the donation of stocks.  All have been put to good use.

Financial donations are wonderful.  So are donations in kind.  When we formed a soccer team, Pan Aweil United FC, through our Sport for Peace program in 2016, we received a donation of more than 40 jerseys and shorts from Peninsula FC in Sidney BC.  We are very grateful for their support.
